Specification

101 Channel to be supported at 1200mm centres by 101 Hangers on 5.6m Galvanised Rod. The 101 Hangers are to be spaced at not more than 1200mm centres along the 101 Channel.

Furring Channel to be fixed to the 101 Channel by pre formed 101 Furr Coupling. Furring Channel to be spaced at 600mm centres for 13mm board and 450mm centres for 10mm board as recommended by the plasterboard manufacturers. Level ceiling by adjusting the 101 Hangers on the Suspension Rod before fixing the ceiling sheets.

The Atkar 100 Series Ceiling Suspension System has been tested and will support a load well in excess of the requirements for 13mm plasterboard, with respective load deflections not exceeding 1/360 of the span in any direction.
